Friendly: Black Stars ‘B’ fight back to beat Tema Youth

Ghana’s Black Stars ‘B’ recorded a 4-2 win over Tema Youth in a friendly at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium Thursday afternoon.

The Division One outfit took a commanding 2-0 lead through Evans Osei Owusu and Benjamin Acquah.

But Coach Maxwell Konadu’s charges responded by pulling parity with a brace from New Edubiase forward Prince Opoku Agyemang to end the first half 2-2.

After recess, Opoku Agyemang completed his hat-trick by tapping in a cross from Isaac Kwain.

Shafiu Mumuni had an opportunity to get on the scoresheet but he fluffed a spot-kick.

In the 80th minute, Latif Anabila scored from a free-kick to hand the local Black Stars a 4-2 victory over Tema Youth.

Ghana is preparing to host Burkina Faso in the first leg of the final round of the CHAN 2020 qualifiers and as well feature in the Wafu Cup of Nations in Senegal later this month.

Last week, they trounced another Division One side Bibiani Gold Stars 6-0 at the same venue.
