Turkish Super Lig side, Gazişehir Gaziantep FK have secured their third Ghanaian summer signing in forward Patrick Twumasi.
The Deportivo Alavés forward joins the newly-promoted side on a season-long loan and joins compatriots Abdul-Aziz Tetteh and Raman Chibsah who have been signed on permanent deals.
“Our new transfer Patrick Twumasi signed an official contract with the signing ceremony attended by our football branch manager Yusuf Demsoy.
“We welcome Patrick Twumasi to our club, and we wish you all the best in our arms,” Gazişehir FK published on their official website.
Twumasi, 25, has been handed the number 3 shirt.
Having enjoyed successful seasons at Kazakhstan’s Astana FC, Twumasi took giant steps in his career with a switch to Alavés in the LaLiga in a deal worth 750,000 euros last summer. But he struggled to cement a place in the starting lineup, managing just 197 minutes in 13 appearances.
