Four-time champions Ghana have set Thursday, June 20 as their arrival date for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) finals.
At Egypt 2019, the Black Stars will be chasing for the fifth since their last time in 1982.
Ghana have been camping in Dubai over the past week and tested their readiness with a high-profile friendly with Namibia on Sunday. They lost 1-0 in the match played behind closed doors.
Head coach Kwasi Appiah is expected to name his final squad of 23 by Caf’s submission deadline of June 11.
The Black Stars final 23 will then continue their preparations to play South Africa in their final friendly match scheduled for Saturday, June 15.
The team will be putting final touches to their preparations in Dubai for about five more days (until June 20) before making a short trip into Egyptian city of Ismalia for the 32nd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.
At the group stage, Ghana will play in Group F against Benin (June 25, Ismalia), Cameroon (June 29, Ismalia) and Guinea-Bissau (July2, Suef).
Egypt kick off the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations with Zimbabwe in the tournament opener on June 21.
