Normalization Committee turn focus on GFA Statutes

Normalization Committee of the Ghana Football Association have now switched their attention to reviewing the Statutes of the country’s football.

According to the Committee’s President Dr. Kofi Amoah, the interim body can now focus on organizing elections and reviewing the laws of Ghana’s most popular game after commencing the Special Cup competition last weekend.

“We are looking at the statuses now after starting the Normalization Committee Cup. It’s our duty to strengthen the rules governing our football.  Our next target will be on how to organize the elections which will be all inclusive because it’s from the district level all the way to the national level,” the business mogul told GTV.

“It should be the collective decision of the whole football family. We all have to work together to get Ghana football working again.”

The core mandate of the Normalization Committee is to run the daily affairs of the Ghana FA, review the Statutes of the governing body and then organize elections.
