#NCSpecial: Obeng Jnr. goal earns Hearts vital win at Liberty [VIDEO]

Hearts of Oak ran out 1-0 victors in a derby clash away to Liberty Professionals on match-day 5 of the Normalization Special Cup.

Attacker Kojo Obeng Jnr’s header from a corner late in the first half inspired the Phobians to the much needed first away win in three attempts.

Likewise this was Liberty’s first defeat in the tournament at their Carl Reindorf grounds where they had earlier dispatched Ebusua Dwarfs and Inter Allies.

Two minutes from the first half break, Obeng Jnr. scored an excellent near-post header from Christopher Bonney’s corner kick which found him unmarked [watch below].

That goal remained the separating factor between the two sides till referee Benjamin Sefah blew his whistle to end the well-attended game at Dansoman.

Hearts, having secured two wins on the bounce, move to third position with 9 points while Liberty follow them with 7 points after five games on the Premier B standings.
