Aduana Stars clinched their first victory, 2-1, on match-day two of the Normalization Committee Special Competition at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park Wednesday afternoon.
Skipper Yahaya Mohammed and Abdul Rahman Fataw returned the Fire Boys to winning ways after their lone goal loss to Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Studium on Sunday.
The home side came in stronger, ensuring their dominance at home once again and grabbed the lead through Mohammed in the closing stages of the first half.
Wonders failed to react as Aduana controlled the battle with their possessive football till half time.

After recess, the away side continued their surge to draw level but Aduana’s urgency to secure victory meant their concentration would improve. And it improved tremendously; Justice Anane’s cross was thumped in by Abdul Rahman Fataw giving the hosts a comfortable 2-0 lead.
Wonders top marksman Alex Asamoah pulled one back in the late moments of the game but that could only count as a consolation goal with the Fire Boys showcasing resolute performance at the back.
Aduana Stars now have three points in Premier A after two games.
