Ghana’s Elizabeth Addo has signed for Chinese Women’s Super League side Jiangsu Suning for a season.
The 26-year-old silky midfielder had to end her contract with United States side Seattle Reign in February to make way for a free agent move to Asia.
Addo, who was named in the 2018 Women’s AFCON Best XI despite failing to make the knockout stage, expressed delight in making the move via Twitter:
Excited to have sign for jiangsu suning lfc

The Black Queens skipper is now the fourth African player to switch to the Chinese Women’s Super League in 2019 after Nigerian star Francisca Ordega as well as South Africa’s Linda Motlhalo and Chrestinah Thembi Kgatlana.
Elizabeth Addo has also previously enjoyed spells with Western Sydney Wanderers FC in Australia, Kvarnsvedens IK, Ferencvárosi T and ŽFK Spartak Subotica.
