Winger Emmanuel Gyamfi’s swift recovery has earned him a starting spot in Asante Kotoko’s line-up against Al Hilal for their penultimate game in the 2018/19 Caf Confederation Cup group stage.
The speedster was subbed off for Kwame Boahen after an injury in the Porcupines 3-0 home victory against Nkana FC last Sunday. Ahead of Kotoko’s last group stage duel at home, Gyamfi was ruled out, raising concerns over the replacement of the in-form attacker.
But here we are! The forward, who has scored in the Red’s last two games, is available once again.
Skipper Amos Frimpong has served his one-match suspension and is back but on the right side of defence while Daniel Darkwah maintains his spot at left back after an impressive display against Nkana FC.
Wahab Adams and Emmanuel Agyemang Badu will now play their first match for the Porcupines as a central defence pair.
