Zambian giants Nkana FC have rewarded Richard Ocran’s impressive form with a new two-year contract, the club has announced.
The Ghanaian defender now extends his stay at Chitala until 2021.
Ocran had joined Nkana on an initial one-year deal till end of February 2019 as a free agent after spells in the Ghana Premier League with Amidaus Professionals, Sekondi Hasaacas, Dreams FC and AshantiGold.
This weekend, the experienced centre-back, who has become a prominent member of coach Beston Chambesi’s side, could be in action against his former coach CK Akonnor under whom he worked at his last Ghanaian club – AshantiGold – a little over a year ago.
CK Akonnor leads Asante Kotoko to face Nkana FC in Kitwe in a 2018/19 Caf Confederation Cup Group C encounter on Sunday February 24.
