Official: Dauda seals Vitesse Arnhem loan

Young Ghana striker, Dauda Mohammed has finally joined Vitesse Arnhem on loan from RSC Anderlecht.

The Dutch club moved for the 20-year-old, mostly used as a fringe player, a couple of weeks ago but his Belgian employers, according to reports were reluctant to release him until they found his ‘senior’ replacement in the January transfer window.

Dauda, on transfer deadline day, has now been farmed out to the Eredivisie side until the end of the season.

Vitesse Arnhem also secured a permanent option in the loan agreement.

He signed for Anderlecht from Asante Kotoko in January 2017 as a youth team player and bagged 25 goals which saw him roped into the senior squad.

Dauda Mohammed, who would have two seasons left on his Anderlecht contract at the end of the loan spell, made 5 league appearances for the Royal Blues in the ongoing campaign.
