I’m competent to lead Ghana FA – Amponsah

Phar Rangers FC bank-roller, Nana Yaw Amponsah has touted his credentials to lead the Ghana Football Association.

The renowned player agent has had to relinquish that role in pursuit for the topmost seat of football administration in the country.

Amponsah, who declared his intentions to contest for the Ghana FA presidency about a year ago, believes he has acquired the requisite knowledge to turn the face of football in Ghana.

“I have everything possible in the game of football to change the face of local football, being it business link, trust of football people and the supporters,” the ambitious administrator told Sunyani-based Space FM.

“I’m competent and I want to use my experience to help improve every aspect of the game, when I get the nod to lead the association.

“We’re all wishing for the best of our players and ensuring that stakeholders have trust in leadership,” he added.

The high position has been linked with many football administrators. Early this week, Great Olympics’ Fred Pappoe revealed his intention to vie for the post.

Other renowned individuals hoping to occupy the topmost position include Kurt E.S Okraku, Wilfred Osei, former GFA vice president George Afriyie, Alhaji Karim Grusah and current Ghalca chairman, Kudjoe Fianoo.
