#FootyTransfers: Yahaya Mohammed in talks to join FC San-Pédro

Aduana Stars captain Yahaya Mohammed is in advanced talks with Ivorian topflight side FC San-Pédro, Footy-Ghana.com has confirmed.

According to club officials, the experienced attacker is expected to return to the country today after he was permitted to travel and hold discussions over his personal terms last Tuesday, January 22.

Yahaya joined the Dormaa-based two-time Ghana Premier League winners for a second spell in December 2017. He helped the side to a group stage berth in the 2018 Caf Confederation Cup.

The 30-year-old, who started out as a central defender, developed into a holding midfielder and now a goal poacher, has previously had stints with Tema Youth (Ghana), OGC Nice (France), Real Tamale United (Ghana), Wa All Stars (Ghana), Asante Kotoko (Ghana), Amidaus Professionals (Ghana), Al-Ittihad Tripoli (Libya) and Azam FC (Tanzania).

FC San-Pédro are currently second on the 14-team Ivorian Ligue 1 table after 13 games.
