Wafu B U-20 Cup: Satellites draw Nigeria, Benin and Niger

The Black Satellites of Ghana have been drawn in Group B of the 2018 Wafu Zone B Under-20 Cup of Nations set for Togo.

The draw for the ten-day tournament held on Monday saw Ghana pooled together with rivals Nigeria, Benin and Niger.

Hosts Togo head Group A and will compete against fellow Francophone countries Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire and Senegal who are tournament guests from Wafu Zone A.

The Wafu Zone B Under-20 Cup of Nations is slated for December 6-16.

Participating countries have November 20-27 to submit their squads for the 8-nation tournament.

Ghana and the teams in Group B are scheduled to arrive for the competition on December 4 while Group A teams are expected in Lome the day before.

Coach Jimmy Cobblah and his Satellites would use the Wafu Zone B Under-20 Cup of Nations as part of their preparations for the 2019 Afcon slated for Niger February 24 to March 10.
