Ghana’s FA Cup holders Asante Kotoko will know their opponents for the preliminary round of the 2018 Caf Confederation Cup on Saturday, November 3.
The Confederation of African Football (Caf) announced it will hold the draw for the 2018/19 edition of its inter-club competition due to commence November 27 via Twitter Thursday morning.

Asante Kotoko won the MTN FA Cup two seasons but are representing the country as Cup winners due to the fact that the 2017/18 edition of domestic competition could not kickoff due to the problems that followed the Anas expose a couple of months ago.
Caf is adopting a transitional calendar which allows the Caf club competitions to switch from the February-November schedule to August-May following a Caf Executive Committee decision in July last year.
The 2018/19 campaigns kickoff November 27 and end by June 1, 2019
Caf gave confirmed clubs for the 2018/19 inter-club competitions a deadline of Thursday, November 1 to submit their squads.
Asante Kotoko finalized their squad of 26 with the inclusion of 11 new recruits namely: Muntari Tagoe, Evans Owusu, Abass Mohammed, Abdul Ganiyu Ismail, Yaw Frimpong, Umar Basiru, Martin Atwi, Maxwell Baakoh, Kwame Bonsu, Keita Laye Naby and Abdul Safiu Fatawu.
