Coach Evans Adotey has named Ghana’s final 21 players for the 2018 Fifa Under-17 Women’s World Cup to be played in Uruguay.
Justice Tweneboah was part of the Black Princesses [Under 20] team at the Under-20 Women’s World Cup in France a couple of months ago and has been drafted into the final list of players to lead the lines as one of the experience players.
Skipper Mukarama Abdulai who scored 12 goals in the qualifying campaign will lead the team to the tournament again.
Midfielder Fusiena Mumuni will also be making her second appearance at the World Cup having played in the previous edition of the competition.
Milot Abena Pokuaa who was Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies top scorer in the National Women’s League also made the list.
The Black Maidens are making a sixth consecutive appearance at the Fifa U-17 Women’s World Cup and will be accompanied by Cameroon(second) and South Africa(second) from Africa.
Ghana – housed in Group A alongside hosts Uruguay, Finland and New Zealand – will be looking to better the bronze place finish in Azerbaijan in 2012.
The tournament will run from November 13 till December 1.
