Richmond Boakye has returned to Red Star Belgrade just six months after moving to Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning.
The striker, 25, had joined Fabio Capello’s side until 2021 where he scored three goals in 15 matches.
But on transfer deadline Friday, Red Star Belgrade, in a squad bolstering bid for their UEFA Champions League group stage campaign, completed a deal to re-sign the Ghana international and Goran Čaušić alongside Marko Marin.
Richmond Boakye makes a comeback to the Rajko Mitić Stadium outfit on a two-and-a-half year deal with another year option.
