The Executive Chairman of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei has dissolved the club’s management team with immediate effect.
Yaw Boafo (Legal Head), Thomas Boakye Agyeman (Greater Accra rep and International Relations), Dr. Michael Leat (Head of medical) and Obed Acheampong (Communications) who formed a lean management team with the Executive Chairman since his appointment in November 2016 have all been “relieved of their positions.”
A statement dated 13th August and signed by Administrative Manager Rose Padmore Yeboah said the Chairman “expresses his deepest appreciation to the members of the team and wishes them well in their various endeavours.”

The statement assured the club’s teeming supporters of the announcement of a new management team soon.
The likes of George Amoako, Sarfo Duku, Yussif Chibsah, Nana Kwame Dankwa, Edmund Ackah, Dr. Jerry Newton, Dr. Caleb have been some of the individuals suggested to form the about-to-be announced new management team of the Porcupine Warriors.
