Kenichi left because of league absence – Willie Klutse

Inter Allies Technical Director Willie Kluste has revealed reasons behind the departure of coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi.

According to the club, they mutually agreed to terminate the contract per the request of their Japanese trainer. But the technical head of the Tema-based outfit has disclosed the reasons that triggered the departure of their gaffer.

“Kenichi is no more Inter Allies coach. The absence of the league is the reason why he left because He wants to works to earn money and cater for his family,” Klutse told Happy FM.

“We would never sack him. He came to Ghana because of the league and since the league is no more, he wants to leave. Yaw Preko and another coach from Togo will be handling the team for now.”

“We pleaded with him to wait for some time but he refused. Kenichi is not the idle type so he wants to move on to seek for another job else since we don’t know when the league is resuming.” the technical director added.

Asked whether his club will make a move for sacked Ashantigold coach C.K Akonnor, Klutse said:

“If CK Akunnor is the coach that will help Inter Allies, why not? He is welcome. We want a coach that can help Inter Allies.”

Yatsuhashi guided the Capelli Boys to the 5th position on the league table with 24 points after the end of the first round.
