John Boye joins FC Metz on two-year deal
Ghana defender John Boye has signed for French Ligue 2 side FC Metz on a two-year deal.
The centre-back makes a return to French football having earlier spent six seasons with Stade Rennes. The 31-year-old’s contract has an additional one year option.

Boye spent four years in Turkey football playing for Kayseri Erciyesspor and his recent side Sivasspor where he enjoyed less game time in the 2017/18 season – the number 21 made nine appearances for the Yigidos.
The Maroons resumed training for the 2018/19 season on Thursday June 21. John is expected to join the lads soon where he reunites with former boss at Rennes, Frederic Antonetti.

On an international level, the former Hearts of Lions centre back has 60 appearances for Ghana’s national team.
