Hearts-Nuttall dispute before Status Committee today

The Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to adjudicate on the contract dispute between Scottish coach Frank Elliot Nuttall and former club Hearts of Oak.

The gaffer was sacked by the Phobians in February for unethical behavior after it was established that he was “aiding and introducing players of the club to agents and vice versa without the knowledge of the management of the club.”

Nuttall believes he is owed amounts to the tune of $12,000 being unpaid salaries and bonuses by the club hence resorting to the Status Committee.

Hearts disagree with the claim by their former employee though they concede they have defaulted in some payments.

The Status Committee is scheduled to adjudicate the case during a sitting in the afternoon of Thursday May 10, 2018.

Nuttall guided the Phobians to 2016/17 MTN FA Cup final but lost 3-1 to rivals Asante Kotoko. He was replaced at the Rainbow club by assistant coach Henry Wellington.
