Following their 1-0 win over Karela FC on Sunday, the Hunters were positive ahead of the Sharks visit to the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park but it turned sour at the start.

The Elmina-based side went ahead in the 6th minute through high-flying winger Benjamin Tweneboah to the shock of the home side.

As Bechem forced for the equalizer, striker Felix Addo extended Sharks lead against the round of play in the 26th minute.

The hosts returned from recess with the the aim of scoring an early goal but they were dealt another blow in the 56th minute after Sharks were awarded a penalty kick – which Benjamin Tweneboah stepped up to expertly convert the kick, his second of the afternoon.

The Hunters finally got a goal through Adama Diabate in the 68th minute. 3-1 and the hosts still had hope as they pressed on with high intensity on their opponents.

With the game drawing to its closure, Sharks defender Emmanuel Ampiah was shown a red card – which swung the game in favour of Bechem.

Seven minutes after Ampiah’s sending off, Hafiz Konkoni bagged Bechem United second goal.
