WATCH: Richmond Boakye snatches point for Suning

Ghana striker Richmond Boakye rescued a point for Jiangsu Suning as they shared a 1-1 draw away at Tianjin Quanjian in the 2018 Chinese Super League on Friday.

Boakye found an equalizer in the 84th minute to cancel out Wang Yongpo’s 5th minute go-ahead goal for the hosts at Haihe Educational Football Stadium.

The Black Stars striker brilliantly set himself apart for a pass, took a touch of the ball into the box before firing past Quanjian goalkeeper Lu Zhang.

Boakye’s second goal in three games ensured Suning maintained their unbeaten record against Tianjin Quanjian.

He played full throttle after being deployed up front by new coach Cosmin Olarui alongside Brazilian star Alex Teixeira.

Richmond Boakye joined Jiangsu Suning from Red Star Belgrade for a reported €5 million fee late February.
