Berekum Chelsea recovered from their matchday 6 defeat with a 1-0 win over regional mates Bechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Blues are currently serving a three-game home ban for physically assaulting referee Nuhu Liman in their week 2 league fixture against Dreams FC at the Golden City Park.
After suffering a 1-0 loss to Karela United on Thursday, Chelsea displayed desperate attacks to resurrect their campaign playing at home against Bechem and forward Stephen Amankona’s 39th minute strike granted his side the lead.

Bechem United probed for their equalizer through attackers Hafiz Konkoni and Yao Abotsi but the pair had few attempts to utilize. Konkoni, who netted twice in midweek against Dreams, had a disappointing game that summed up the Hunters’ performance for the 90 minutes.
Chelsea then held on to their lead till the game ended as goalscorer Stephen Amankonah claimed the NASCO Man of the Match laurel.
