Chelsea are looking to sign Juventus star Kwadwo Asamoah in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
Asamoah has made 149 appearances for Juve since joining the club back in 2012 but the 29-year-old left-back is expected to move on from Turin at the end of the 2017/18 campaign.
The Ghana international, who is out of contract in the summer, will be available on a free transfer and a number of top European clubs are ready to battle it out for his signature.
The Sun suggests Chelsea are plotting a move for Asamoah after giving up on landing his Juventus team-mate Alex Sandro. Napoli and Inter Milan are also expressing a strong interest in Asamoah.
While Asamoah could leave Juve, it’s claimed Sandro has informed Massimiliano Allegri that he wishes to stay at the club and sees his long-term future in Turin.
