It’s rivalry renewed for Ghana and Nigeria in the semifinals of the ongoing Wafu B Women’s Cup of Nations after the latter emerged winners of Group B on Monday.
The Super Falcons defeated Togo 3-1 which ensured they finished the group phase with 9 points.
And that automatically sets them up for a date with the Black Queens who finished second in Group A behind hosts Cote d’Ivoire.
The Ghana-Nigeria clash is the first semi-final match of the Wafu Women’s Cup.
The second semi-final game will be an all-francophone affair between Cote d’Ivoire and Mali.
Both games will be played at Parc des Sports de Treichville on Thursday February 22.
