Aduana Stars’ second taste of Champions League football begins with a tricky trip to Libya.
The Ghana Premier League champions have been pitted against Benghazi-based Al Tahaddy SC in the preliminary round of the 2018 Caf Champions League.
Aduana Stars are not new to a Libyan opposition as they enjoyed a preseason early this year where they traveled to face Ahli Tripoli in a friendly.
The first leg of the Aduana-Tahaddy tie is scheduled for the weekend of 9-11 February 2018 in Benghazi with the return fixture at Dormaa the following week.
Al Tahaddy last played continental football in 1978 while the two-Ghanaian champions are back since their debut in 2011 when they suffered a first round exit.
