Ghana U-17 defender Bismark Terry Owusu has said confidently that they will go all out for victory against African counterparts Niger on Wednesday and will achieve it too.
The Black Starlets, who have won the U-17 World Cup title in 1991 and 1995 and had reached four out of five finals in the 1990s, have a tricky African test in their quest for a quarterfinal berth on their return to the stage after a 10-year break.
And centre-back Terry Owusu who slotted in well for the injured Abdul Razak Yusif in the final group game against hosts India says the team is poised for victory against the Mena Cadets.
“The coach tells us you can do it and go all out for a win. That’s what we are going to do,” he said at a pre-match presser on the eve of the match.
Ghana will face Niger at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Kickoff is at 11:30 GMT.
