Friendly: Didi names strong Black Queens line-up to face France tonight

Black Queens coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has named Ghana’s starting line-up to face the France women’s team in an international friendly Monday night.

The match will be played at the Auguste Delaune Stadium in Reims one of the 9 cities that will host the 2019 World Cup.

Kickoff is at 1900GMT.

The Ghana start list has four foreign-based stars with Elizabeth Addo leading the side as captain.

Ghana XI (4-3-3) vs France:

Goalkeeper: Patricia Mantey (Immigration Ladies)

Defenders: Ernestina Abambila (FC MINSK), Janet Agyir (Hassacas Ladies), Faustina Ampah (FC MINSK), Portia Boakye (Ferencvarosi TC, Hungary)

Midfielders: Priscilla Okyere (Ampem Darkoaa), Mary Essilful (Soccer Intellectuals), Juliet Acheampong (Prison Ladies)

Forwards: Elizabeth Addo (Kvarnsvedens IK, Sweden), Jane Ayieyam (Police Ladies), Lily Niber Lawrence (Hassacas Ladies).

Purpose for friendly:

Ghana: Coach Mas-Ud Dramani will be using the game to prepare his Black Queens team for the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

France: Les Bleues, coached by Corinne Diacre, 4th in the Fifa rankings, has the ambition to win at home her first major title, after a frustrating elimination in the quarterfinals at Euro-2017.

The France Fifa Women’s World Cup comes off from June 7 to July 7, 2019.
