Asante Kotoko coach Steve Polack says he is set to present a list of players scouted at the ongoing Wafu Cup of Nations to the club’s management.
According to him, the list includes players from the Black Stars team as well as others from some countries at the regional competition.
The English trainer has been monitoring the competition since it began on September 9.
Polack followed up by making a presence at the opening matches in Group A of the Wafu Cup last week.
Speaking to Nhyira FM Monday, he said: “I have a list of players I saw at the Wafu tournament which I will be presenting to Management to look at – some in the Ghana team and in other teams.”
Asked about an interest in signing exciting midfielder Winful Cobbina who features for arch-rivals Hearts of Oak, Polack remarked:
“He is a great player… Should you play Winful Cobbina in the right position, he is phenomenal but I didn’t go there to talk to him.
He is under contract… If we want him, we will talk to his club,” the coach added.
Coach Steve Polack returned to supervise Kotoko’s preparations towards the resumption of the Ghana Premier League in October. He is however expected to head for Cape Coast once more before the Wafu Cup ends September 24.
