#FootyTransfers: Wahab Hanan signs for Club Africain on loan

Tunisian giants Club Africain have completed the signing of Abdul Wahab Hanan on a loan deal from FC Tema United, Footy-Ghana.com can confirm.

The midfielder, who previously played for New Edubiase United in the Ghana Premier League, arrived in Tunis a fortnight ago and has been training with the side.

He impressed new coach Marco Simone after cameo appearances in the side’s two friendly games against ES Zarzis last Saturday and Eric Kumi’s Stade Tunisien which ended 1-1 on Tuesday.

Wahab Hanan has since undergone a mandatory medical and passed. He will be handed not less than an initial six-month deal with the club securing the option to make his stay permanent for four seasons.

Footy-Ghana.com checks reveal that Club African have already exhausted their foreign quota after recently signing Fabrice Ondama and deciding to keep Algerian duo Ibrahim Chenihi and Mokhtar Belkhither who were initially billed for deals abroad this summer.

This means the Caf Confederation Cup campaigners will register Wahab Hanan as one of their reserve players alongside fellow countryman and former Edubiase teammate Abdul Latif Anabila.

Abdul Wahab Hanan recently featured for Tema Youth in the ongoing 2016/17 Ghana Premier League on loan from FC Tema United.
