Micky Charles withdraws court injunction application on league

President of Techiman City Football Club, Micky Charles has withdrawn a court application filed to place an injunction on the ongoing 2017 Ghana Premier League.

The decision to withdraw the case is yet to be revealed to Footy-Ghana.com but authoritative sources disclose that Micky Charles wrote to withdraw the suit Wednesday morning citing national football interest protection.

The Techiman City President asked the court to serve the Ghana FA with an injunction on the league which the court rejected asking that the side of the subject of the Football Association must be heard before any action of that sort could be taken.

The case was adjourned to Wednesday morning because it couldn’t be heard on Tuesday as both parties were absent when it was called due to the case being moved from Court Six to Court Five.

The case which was to be heard this morning couldn’t come off since Micky has written to the court to withdraw the case from the court.
