Ex-Kotoko defender Manu starts coaching career in Germany

Former Kotoko centre back, Richard Manu has now entered into mainstream coaching years after playing and studying the game.

Manu, who played for the Porcupine Warriors between 2007 and 2009, now coaches at German third division side, Eintracht Dillingen.

The ex-footballer holds a UEFA Licence B Coaching Certificate and he hopes to cut his teeth properly in the coaching field. This is his first season with the German lower division side.

“I’m delighted at this development because it’s has been my dream. It’s been my passion to get to this level of football. I’m highly grateful to Dillingen for this chance. I’m happy with the chance to learn and coach” he said in an interview with Asantekotokosc.com.

“I have gathered a lot of experience and knowledge while playing in Germany and Ghana. I started my coaching studies from December last year; it’s been an interesting experience so far for me. I hope to do more in the coming years. This is my first season at Dillingen” said added Manu.
