The Black Stars of Ghana will come up against their South African counterparts in an international friendly in Durban next month.
Ghana will be using the game to ready themselves for the World Cup qualifier against Egypt after the first one against Uganda on October 7 in Tamale.
The game will take place on 11th October at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, three days after their qualifier with Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou.
The South African FA confirmed the date on their website.
“Bafana Bafana will face the Black Stars of Ghana (Tuesday, 11 October) in an international friendly match that will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban,” SAFA announced.
Meanwhile, South African coach Ephraim ‘Shakes’ Mashaba has announced a squad of 25 players to face Burkina Faso in the 2018 World Cup qualifier on 8th October which seemed to end recent speculation about his future as Bafana Bafana coach.
