Ayew moves to Marseille

West Ham midfielder Andre Ayew has moved from England to Marseille – his former club to continue with his rehabilitation.

He is bidding time to return back onto the pitch strongly after suffering an injury on match day one in the English Premier League.

The Ghanaian international suffered a thigh injury while playing for the Hammers against Chelsea on league opener, lasting only 35 minutes on the field. But series of scan and test run by the club has revealed the deputy skipper of the Black Stars was slated to make a comeback onto the field in December.

It is believed that the club has agreed to allow the 26-year-old move back to Marseille temporarily in an environment familiar to him on a request and upon an earlier diagnosis on his injury.

Andre, on arrival, is believed to have been shocked at the warm reception he received from the Marseille fans – a club he left on a free transfer to join Swansea in the EPL.

West Ham on the other is going through one of its worst start to the Premier League in the history of the club – won only one out of five matches and lost the remaining four games.

They are 18th on the league log with three points.
