Adomah says ‘NO’ to Aston Villa

Ghanaian international Albert Adomah has turned down opportunity to sign for Aston Villa in the championship.

The Villains enquired about the possibilities of securing the services of the winger.

Adomah and his representatives were given the permission to hold talks with Aston Villa but the former Bristol City player decided to opt out.

Middlesbrough left the 28-year-old from the squad that travelled to draw goalless with West Bromwich Albion on Sunday due to contract negotiations.

The  winger had earlier turned down a three-year deal from the Boro’s, claiming it did not meet the standard he had opted for, fueling exit rumours.

With a day to shut the transfer window, Coach of the side Aitor Karanka has reiterated his desire to keep the Ghanaian in his squad, with the Premier League squad registration due for this week.

Adomah’s contract with The Riverside club will expire next summer but according to reports, he is happy with life at the club and looking forward for fresh and improved negotiations.

Premiership side Burnley and Crystal Palace are also believed to have shown interest in the player and will soon be making their bids.

Albert Adomah has featured 18 times for the Black Stars and scored two goals.
