Van der Pluijm eyeing Ghana job

Head coach of Tanzanian’s Young Africans, Hans van der Pluijm, has an eye on coaching the Black Stars in the future.

The Dutchman is familiar with Ghanaian football, having previously coached the likes of Heart of Lions, Medeama and Berekum Chelsea in the local topflight.

“It’s always a privilege and an honor if given the chance to coach the Black Stars of Ghana,” Pljuim told Ghana Sports Newspaper.

“This is because Ghana is my second home [after marrying from there] and I will welcome it.

“Ghana is one of the powerhouses in Africa football. So I will take it if I get the chance.”

Pluijm’s Young Africans side incidentally play Medeama in the group stage of the Caf Confederation Cup on the 26th at the Sekondi Stadium.
