Caf Confederation Cup campaigners Medeama have confirmed the transfer of Enoch Atta Agyei to Tanzanian team Azam FC on a two-year deal.
The youngster seemingly caught the eye of Azam when Medeama played Tanzanian outfit Young Africans away in Dar es Salaam in the elite continental championship earlier this month.
Agyei is expected to move to the East African country this weekend for a medical, before joining the team’s two-week preseason tour of Zanzibar.
According to Azam’s official website, Ghana coach Avram Grant is an admirer of the winger, and has subsequently congratulated the club on roping in the winger.
“I congratulate Azam for spotting such a bright prospect,” Grant said.
“I promise to follow up on his progress at the club.”
Azam will be taking part in next year’s Caf Confederation Cup after placing second in the 2015/16 Tanzanian league.
