[Watch] Highlights: Mauritius 0-2 Ghana

Two second half goals from Andre Ayew and Christian Atsu saw Ghana beat Mauritius 2-0 to qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals to be hosted by Gabon.

The victory at the Stade Anjalay extended Ghana’s points tally as leaders of Group H to 13 from five games ahead of the final qualifying encounter at home to Rwanda later in September.

The Black Stars, from January 21-February 12, 2017, will be participating in their 7th straight Afcon since failing to qualify for the 2004 edition. The 2017 Afcon will also be the 21st outing for the four-time winners.

Coach Avram Grant’s men came very close to winning the trophy in 2015 but were denied by Ivory Coast who defeated them in the grand finale on penalties.
