REVEALED: Emmanuel Osei agrees 3-year deal to join Kotoko

AshantiGold forward Emmanuel Osei has sealed personal terms of a three-year contract to switch to rivals Asante Kotoko, footy-Ghana can reveal.

Osei, a former player of lower tier side Asokwa Deportivo, sealed the terms following fruitful discussions on Thursday and is set to earn an amount in the region of GHs 40,000 as signing on fee for the contract period.

AshantiGold have had to reluctantly do business with Kotoko due to the contract situation of their Academy product as well as his wish to move on due to the limited playing time he has had to endure especially this season.

Facing the risk of losing Osei on a free in about three months time, the Miners have now had to capitalize on the Kotoko request to do business.

A delegation from Kotoko will today (Friday) meet with officials of AshantiGold in Obuasi to seal a compensation agreement for the almost out-of-contract forward.

Bancey to return?

In their search to bolster their striking options with two new signings, Kotoko who are almost done with the capture of Emmanuel Osei from AshGold have decided to take a look at lanky forward Seidu Bancey who left the club for Egypt two seasons ago.

Bancey who was top scorer for the club during his days began training woth the side on Thursday in bid to impress interim coach Michael Osei.
