Jimmy Korblah to replace Herbert Addo as Inter Allies coach?

Immediate past Wa All Stars coach Jimmy Korblah looks set to land a job with struggling Inter Allies, has gathered.

It is however unclear if the coach who failed to renew his contract with current league leaders All Stars prior to the start of the season is coming on board as a direct replacement for veteran coach Herbert Addo.

Inter Allies have been silent about the whereabouts and situation of coach Addo who has been absent from training all week, prompting whispers within the club of a mutual discontinuation of contract by both parties.

Jimmy Korblah has this week been spotted twice at the Tema Stadium observing the club’s training sessions from a good distance.

“The coach [Jimmy Korblah] has been watching our training this week. He was here on Wednesday and also today. He doesn’t come close to the team but watches the session from his car,” a close source told Thursday.

“There are talks he could be taking over but I’m not sure it will be confirmed this week,” the source added.

According to Footy-GHANA sources, the club is in talks with Korblah and could finalize and announce a deal with him after their match day 11 away trip to WAFA this weekend. Assistant coach Rashid Iddi will lead the side for the game.
