Asante Kotoko have sealed their first of a planned three second window signings with the completion of a deal for pacy winger Emmanuel Gyamfi.

Footy-GHANA.com can confirm thst the former Ghana U-20 player officially became contracted to the Porcupine Warriors after signing to a three-year contract at the club’s secretariat on Monday, May 23.

Gyamfi who can play across positions behind a top striker refused to extend his contract with Wa All Stars at the end of last season and was on the verge of signing for a top South African club during the January transfer window but the move could not materialize on deadline day.

Gyamfi could not begin last season with Wa All Stars due to a delay in the arrival of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) after completing a loan spell with FC Shirak in Armenia. He also missed two games due to injury but provided 10 assists and won 11 man-of-the match awards in the 21 league games he featured in for Wa All Stars.

The 22-year-old has been training with Kotoko for the past week and would fully joined the mainstream squad when they return from their match day 14 midweek trip to his former club.
