“There’s nothing like step aside in my contract” – Duncan fights back

Under-fire Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan has come out fighting after he was asked to “step aside until further notice.”

The gaffer insists there’s no such thing in his contract.

Duncan has supervised Kotoko’s worst start to any premier league season. The club is bottom of the 16 team league table with just 5 points from their opening 6 games with just one win.

“I am either sacked or still in post. There’s no such thing as step-aside in my contract as far as I’m concerned. Until I’m sacked, I’m still the head coach of the team,” Duncan said in quotes attributed to Atinka FM.

Assistant coach Michael Osei has been asked to take charge of the team on the interim.
