Accra Hearts of Oak have moved to quash talks that the club is in a crisis situation.
A Facebook post by head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi clearing a supposed misrepresentation about situations between him and the club on Sunday prompted emotive reactions from managers of the Phobians who have deemed his actions “inappropriate”.

A statement signed by Communications Manager Kwame Opare Addo reads: “The club has, and rightly so, been trying quietly to manage an unusual and what it views as unreasonable and strange situation over the past few weeks to ensure that it continues to build its brand, provide good entertainment and protect the image and integrity of those who have created those situation in the first place.”
It added: “The club wishes to assure its supporters and the general public that although it will not want to address the issues raised by coach Kenichi in public, the picture being painted is not entirely correct. His conduct is also not acceptable and would be addressed professionally and in accordance with the club’s code of ethics.”
Hearts, who currently lie second on the Ghana Premier League table, host WAFA SC in a match day 8 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

HEARTS OF OAK NOT IN CRISIS
The management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Limited wish to inform the general public and its supporters and well-wishers that contrary to the perception in the media, the club is NOT in crisis.
The club has, and rightly so, been trying quietly to manage an unusual and what it views as unreasonable and strange situation over the past few weeks to ensure that it continues to build its brand, provide good entertainment and protect the image and integrity of those who have created those situation in the first place.
The club wishes to assure its supporters and the general public that although it will not want to address the issues raised by coach Kenichi in public, the picture being painted is not entirely correct. His conduct is also not acceptable and would be addressed professionally and in accordance with the club’s code of ethics.
The club would want to continue to remain professional and address these issues internally and can assure its supporters once again that it is committed to honoring all obligations to its employees and strive to be the best employer in the sporting industry.
Indeed the club is VERY proud of the conditions of service it offers to its employees including the Head Coach and would continue to improve on it and make it the reference point in the country.
Is it not strange for people to turn around and accuse the club of insensitivity when only a few weeks ago these same people accused the Club of over-pampering its players and paying too much winning bonuses?
Management would want to assure all that it would not be distracted in its efforts to “properly” position the brand and would continue to always act in the best interest of the club.
