“Stadium is for matches, not everyday training” – NSA warns Kotoko

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been told they will be not be allowed to train again at the Baba Yara stadium because the facility is not meant for training purposes.

Kotoko moved training to the Baba Yara stadium to avoid estranged coach David Duncan who turned up at the club’s training ground at Adako Jachie.

But director of sports in the Ashanti Region, Richard Iddrisu, who’s office manage the stadium have informed Kotoko they will not be allowed to use the facility for everyday training.

“The stadium is for matches, not training. You’re only allowed to use the facility for training for one day if you have a match at the venue,” Iddrisu said.

Kotoko were charged Ghc 500.00 for the 2 hours they spent training at the stadium and will be charged similar if they decide to go back.

Duncan on the other hand, spent 2 hours idling at the club’s training grounds and has said he will bill the club for the fuel he used to go to training.
