Photos: Kudjoe Fianoo wins Ghalca elections

AshantiGold Chief Eexecutive Officer Kudjoe Fianoo has been elected chairman of the Ghana League Club’s Association (GHALCA) in an election held on Thursday April 21.

Fianoo polled 63 of the total votes cast at the conference room of the Accra Sports Stadium against 13 votes garnered each by other contenders Kofi Poku, Oduro Sarfo and outgoing vice chairman of the body, Isaac Koomson with four rejected ballots.

He will be succeeding Alhaji Ali Raji who has been at post for two terms.

The former Ghana Football Association Executive Committee member have the bragging rights of leading Ashgold to win a Premier League title for the first time after nineteen (19) years.

Kudjoe Fianoo succeeds Alhaji Ali Raji who decided not to contest after two terms in office and will have the responsibility of making GHALCA an attractive entity in Ghana Football.
