Oti Akenteng is a coward – Coach Bash

Ashantigold coach Bashir Hayford has hit hard at Ghana FA Technical Director Francis Oti Akenteng for failing to pursue the payment of local coaches in charge of the various national teams.

As at September 2014, coaches were owed over $170,000 but two years down the line the amount has shot up without the Ghana FA being perturbed.

Hayford is yet to be paid his outstanding salaries for handling the Princesses from September 2013 -July 2015 and believes Oti’s cowardliness is the cause of this major pile ups.

“We want somebody to fight this thing for us. Our Technical Director is not fighting for us. He himself is afraid,” Hayford told Starr Sports.

“I think when he hears it he will call me and I will put it straight to him. He is even afraid to air these views I am putting out now.”

“Apart from the senior national team, none of them is paid. You ask them. I don’t think anybody who is patriotic will forget about incentives. You are patriotic so whatever is supposed to come to you to live, you will forget about it. It is unrealistic.”

Meanwhile, as part of reforms at the GFA, Coach Didi Dramani has been appointed as the assistant technical director of the FA.
