The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Moroccan referee Bouchaib El-Ahrach to officiate Ghana’s 2017 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Mozambique.
The game between the Black Stars and the OS Mambas will kick off on the 24th of March 2016 in Accra at 15:30 GMT.
He will be assisted on the lines by countrymen Redouane Achik and Mouhib Abdallah Filali.
Referee Ahrach was the man in the center of affairs when Ghana had their biggest win over North African side Egypt in a 6-1 encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in 2013 that got the Blackstars a slot in Brazil 2014 World Cup.
Referee Bouchaib El-Ahrach of Morocco was also the 4th Official when Ghana lost to Burkina Faso on Penalties at the 2013 AFCON in South Africa.
Ghana already have a 100% record in the qualifications after defeating Mauritius 7-1 and getting an away win over Rwanda.
