Kwadwo Asamoah unperturbed by bit-part Juve role

Juventus midfielder Kwado Asamoah says he is not perturbed about not getting much playing for the Bianconeri.

Asamoah has battled to stay fit for the past two seasons now for both club and country.

He was recently shifted from playing as a left-wing back to his favourite midfield position after Andre Pirlo left the club to the Major League Soccer (MLS) last season.

“I can play multiple roles, but certainly, after the injury, I need a little time to reach the top form,” the 27-year old told Sky Sports.

“I’m happy if the team wins, even if I play less. I try to give my best when it’s my turn.

“The important thing is to know that, when you enter, even in five minutes you can make a difference. Take for an example the game against Napoli; Zaza came, he played great and scored the winning goal. This is our strength,” he added.

The former Udinese star has featured seven times for the Turin-based side since October and made an assist in their three zero walloping of Inter Milan back in January.

The Old Ladies are top of the Serie A table with 70 points whiles Napoli trails them by three points.
