Medeama SC went down by 1-0 to Al Ittihad Tripoli of Libya in the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup round of 32 first leg clash on Sunday.
The Mauve and Yellows, after drawing by in round one of the qualifying campaign could not avoid defeat after an excellent fight against the Libyan outfit at their adopted Stade Municipal in Sfax, Tunisia.

Ittihad who triumphed over AS Sonidep of Niger 5-4 on aggregate after thrashing the Nigeriens 4-1 in the first leg of their round 1 qualifiers will have a tall order to eliminate Medeama as the second leg will be played on March 27 at the Essipon Sports Stadium in Sekondi-Takoradi.
