Al Hilal SACK Ghana’s Abeiku Ainooson and Ladzagla

Sudanese giants Al Hilal have terminated their loan agreement with Ghanaian defender Abeiku Ainooson.

Footy-Ghana sources explain the decision by Hilal informed by the club’s exit from the 2016 CAF Champions League last weekend.

Ainooson who joined on a season long loan from Asante Kotoko has been told he is no longer needed due to “bad performances.”

The club source further mentioned: “They [Al Hilal officials] said he was the main reason they were eliminated” from this year’s CAF Champions League.

The decision was sanctioned upon the recommendations of the technical team at a meeting with club President Dr. Ahmad as well as the club’s General Secretary Wednesday.

Ainooson is not the only Ghanaian player leaving as compatriot Nelson Ladzagla has also been affected by the decision to axe three players. Souleymane Cisse completes the list.

All players, the club has announced, have been handed their entitlements and are expected to leave Sudan by Thursday morning.

Al Hilal ‘shockingly’ exited the CAF Champions League at the first round on the away goal rule after playing out a 2-2 draw with Libya’s Al-Ahli Tripoli.
